Creswell's "Hobby
Field" is one of Oregon's busiest General Aviation Airports. It
is located on 102 acres just east of I-5 and Creswell city limits. The
airport is owned and operated by the City of Creswell.
Activities/businesses
available on the field are skydiving, flight instruction, aircraft
maintenance, Chapter 31 of the Experimental
Aircraft Association (EAA), aerobatic rides/lessons,
and a flight simulator. The city-run
pilot's lounge is open daily for the aviation enthusiast and offers
a variety of services; 100 LL and Jet A aviation fuel from a 24
hr. card lock system, pilot supplies, aircraft tie downs, hangar
rentals, and commercial land leases.
It is only a
short distance from the airport to Emerald
Valley Golf Course,
Creswell's
Best Western Inn, and several restaurants.
