South Lane County Fire and Rescue services Creswell and other rural areas in Lane County. They are a public safety organization responsible for delivering fire protection, rescue, emergency medical services and transport, within its geographical and assigned boundaries 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. South Lane County Fire & Rescue is funded primarily through its taxing authority and its billing for medical transport services. In an effort to provide a  better service to the City of Creswell and the surrounding area, South Lane County Fire and Rescue began 24 hour ALS Ambulance & Fire staffing at Station 203 effective January 2012. Station 203 is staffed with a Captain/ Paramedic, a Fire Engineer, and two Resident Reserve Firefighter/ EMTs. It utilizes North Battalion Reserves that respond in conjunction with the on duty crew. It currently houses 1 Engine, 1 Tender, 1 Brush Truck, and 2 Ambulances.
