Image of water

The City of Creswell periodically flushes the water distribution system to maintain fresh and clean water to our customers. Flushing areas of the water distribution system maintains the chlorine residual to areas that may have low flows such as dead ends or non-looped sections of our piping. This practice may generate small amounts of sediment to be stirred up within the water lines resulting in tinted coloring of the water for a short amount of time. The water is still safe to drink but may be aesthetically unpleasing. If you experience this, run the water in your residence for a short period of time to clear the colored water from your water lines.

If you have further issues or questions, please call City Hall at 541-895-2531 for assistance.
