CONSTRUCTION NOTICE:
The City of Creswell and contractor Wind Rose Excavation will be conducting a new water line construction project. The project consists of trenching, 12-inch water line installation, new water services, and fire hydrants. Once the water line is complete, trench cuts will be paved back with asphalt.
This work will replace the original 8-inch transmission line that feeds water from the water plant to the reservoirs on Creswell Butte that have been active since the 1960s. The new 12-inch transmission water line will be located in the City's road right-of-way as the existing 8-inch water line that is located across private property in a utility easement in close proximity to residents. The new 12-inch water line installation will provide seismic protection to the backbone of our water conveyance system. The new line will also shore up the fire flows in the south-west portion of the city.
Construction will start on May 18th, 2026, and will include Holbrook Lane, Evelyn Avenue, 7th Street, and D Street, with an expected completion date of August 2026.
