The Creswell Chamber of Commerce is proud to continue one of our community’s most cherished traditions—the annual 4th of July Fireworks Show. As we prepare to celebrate Independence Day together, we also recognize the challenges presented by this year’s elevated fire danger. The safety of our community, our first responders, and the beautiful landscape that surrounds us remains our highest priority. We are pleased to share that the State of Oregon has officially approved our fireworks permit. Throughout the planning process, we have worked closely with the Lane County Fire Marshal to ensure this year’s event meets enhanced safety standards and incorporates every reasonable precaution. To help make this celebration as safe as it is spectacular, the following measures will be in place: Blacktop Launch Site – Fireworks will be launched exclusively from a blacktop surface to reduce the risk of ignition. Reduced-Fallout Fireworks – We have selected fireworks specifically designed to produce significantly less fallout, minimizing debris and lowering fire risk. Expanded Safety Perimeter – The protected safety zone around the launch area has been increased to provide an even greater buffer. On-Site Emergency Response Teams – Fire personnel and emergency responders will be stationed throughout the event and prepared to respond immediately if needed. These precautions reflect months of planning, coordination, and collaboration with local fire officials. We will continue working closely with the Lane County Fire Marshal’s Office leading up to—and throughout—the event to ensure all appropriate safety measures remain in place. For generations, our Independence Day celebration has brought families, friends, and neighbors together. We are grateful for the opportunity to continue this tradition while demonstrating that celebration and responsibility can go hand in hand. Thank you for your support, your understanding, and your commitment to helping keep Creswell safe. We look forward to celebrating with you on the 4th of July. Together, let’s enjoy a memorable evening while honoring the people, preparation, and precautions that make it possible.
