Creswell Heroes. Kevin Prociw, Information Systems Manager/Former City Councilor (2018-2022). Kevin Prociw has been an active member of the Creswell community since moving here in 2016. Over the years, he’s taken on various roles, from serving as a City Councilor to chairing committees, all driven by his passion for making Creswell a better place. He served as a City Councilor from 2019 to 2022, including a term as Council President. Beyond the council, Prociw chaired the Public Safety Committee, where he helped secure more police coverage for the town. By gathering feedback through a community survey, the committee was able to add an extra deputy, improving safety and moving closer to 24/7 coverage. “I love Creswell and wanted to serve my community,” he says. With 20 years in local government, Prociw used his experience to bring creative solutions to the table. His calm, approachable style has earned him respect as a good listener who genuinely cares about what matters to the community. Now, as a board member of Creswell First, Prociw continues to support the town’s growth and foster its close-knit spirit. “There are many heroes in Creswell,” he says, recognizing the many people who work hard to improve the town. For him, the best part of his work is seeing the strong sense of belonging that makes Creswell a great place to live.
