Happy Sunday, Creswell! Today Paisley wants to remind everyone how important it is to keep extra supplies in your car! Hard weather/car issues can happen at any time and emergency supplies can really help!

Safety Sundays with Paisley. It's smart to keep emergency supplies in the car—like a blanket for warmth, cozy clothes for chilly weather, a first aid kit, and boots to protect your paws. That way, you’ll be ready to stay safe, warm, and happy no matter what!

Happy Thursday, Creswell! Today Paisley wants to encourage everyone to help keep leaves out of our storm drains so that we can avoid flooding in our streets!
about 1 year ago, Paisley
Woof woof! I’ve noticed that clogged storm drains can cause flooding, making streets soggy and creating more work for everyone. Let’s keep them clear of leaves and debris to prevent puddles and keep our town safe and dry! Next time you're out, give the drains a quick check! It’s a small effort that makes a big difference!
Creswell Public Works will be performing and televising inspections of all the city's sanitary sewer systems located east of I-5. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Public Works Director, Cliff Bellew, at 541-895-2395 or at cbellew@creswell-or.us.

City of Creswell Public Works Update. The City of Creswell will be performing cleaning and televising inspection of all the city’s sanitary sewer systems located east of I-5. This work will commence off and on starting now through May of 2025. During this project we may need to access sewers and manholes in your area. There will be little or no disruptions to sewer service during this cleaning and inspection. However, we recommend that residents leave their toilet seats down when not being used, in the improbable event back pressure from the cleaning causes toilets to bubble. This is most likely to occur in older houses or houses with improper venting of the sewer drainage system Your cooperation during completion of this work is greatly appreciated.

Did you miss last night's Special Meeting of the Creswell City Council? Here is a quick recap!
about 1 year ago, Creswell Admin
City Council Special Meeting Recap. The Creswell City Council held a special meeting on November 18, 2024, primarily to address the resignation of City Manager Amberg. Amberg submitted her resignation on November 13, 2024. Her final day will be December 13, 2024, and the council acknowledged her contributions to the community, including park expansions and securing grant funding. The council expressed regret at her departure and praised her work. The council then discussed the process for finding an interim city manager. Mayor Stram proposed that he and Council President Costilla would begin gathering candidates by December 6, 2024, with the goal of having someone in place before Amber's departure. The interim will support the city through the transition and possibly assist in the search for a permanent replacement. The council agreed on this approach, and a future meeting will be held to finalize the interim appointment. The process for selecting a permanent city manager will be determined later, with potential community involvement in the selection.
