National Night Out is August 6th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Holt Park! The Lane County Sheriff's Office and The City of Creswell are proud to be partnering together once more to bring National Night Out to the people of Creswell!  National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.  Participants can look forward to many exciting activities, including:  Lane County Sheriff's Office K-9 Demonstration  Deputy Dunk Tank  Vendors  Sheriff's Mounted Posse  Free food courtesy of the Sanipac Duck Truck  Music  Emergency Vehicle Tours  LCSO Pie Eating Contest  So much more! The City of Creswell's Planning Department is working on a plan for economic development (called an Economic Opportunities Analysis) to help all residents of Creswell thrive. You are invited to a community open house to learn about the plan and give feedback. What: Community Open House When: There are two chances to attend! June 11th, 2024 and June 18th, 2024 Time: 4:30pm to 6:30pm Format: Drop-in. Learn about the project, give feedback, and then you can be on your way if you choose. Plan for about 15 minutes to attend. Where: Creswell Community Center, 99 South 1st Street, Creswell OR 97426 Why: To provide your input to inform the Economic Opportunities Analysis, a plan for economic development in Creswell. Food for Lane County invites youth ages 18 and younger to eat free lunch Monday- Friday June 24 to August 23! Employees will serve meals at Holt Park and at the Cobalt Activity Center. Each Summer, FFLC serves thousands of lunches to children through this Program!
