Creswell Heroes. Jordan McCarthy, Secretary and fundraiser coordinator for Creswell Babe Ruth. Jordan McCarthy’s involvement with Creswell Babe Ruth began when she volunteered her husband to coach T-ball. After joining the board, she became passionate about revitalizing the program. Under her leadership, the program has grown, serving 89 kids last year with projections to reach 95-100 this year. Jordan spearheaded multiple fundraising efforts, including the successful Breslaw Field Day, which featured a father/son scrimmage, home run derby, food carts, and a silent auction. This year, she is planning a carnival and seeking community support through donations and sponsorships. What drives Jordan is her commitment to the kids. She and her husband focus on fostering a supportive, respectful environment where kids feel loved and can thrive both on and off the field. Inspired by their own pasts, they aim to give back by ensuring every child knows they matter. Creswell Babe Ruth is volunteer and donation-based, and Jordan encourages the community to get involved. “Anyone interested in sponsoring our event and supporting our kids should email creswellbaberuthbaseball@gmail.com,” she shared, emphasizing the importance of community backing. Through her hard work, Jordan has helped create a strong, supportive baseball family for local kids.

Heads up, Creswell! Our Summer Sewer Rates begin on May 1st. From May to September, utility customers will be billed based on their winter average sewer consumption instead of actual usage. For more information, please contact City Hall at 541-895-2531 ext. 301

Summer Sewer Rates Begin May 1st. Starting May 1st, the City of Creswell will make the annual transition to summer sewer rates for the months of May through September. This method of calculation was designed to save you money! During the summer months, you are simply billed your winter average sewer consumption. For example, if you used 4,200 cubic feet of sewer from October to April, (4200 divided by 7 months) your summer sewer average consumption would be 600 cubic feet per month, regardless of actual sewer usage in the summer. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact City Hall at 541-895-2531 ext. 301
