Trucks and SUVs can lose traction in ice and snow. Even four-wheel drive vehicles can lose traction in bad weather. All vehicles are susceptible to ice and snow.
We know a lot of you love fireworks on New Years Eve! We want to remind everyone to keep their fireworks legal and be safe as you celebrate!

Keep it legal, keep it safe. Illegal fireworks in Oregon. Illegal: any firework that flies into the air, explodes, or behaves in an uncontrollable and unpredictable manner. Warning label may say "shoots flaming balls." Oregon Laws Violated: ORS 480.120. Charged: Misdemeanor.

Get rid of your Christmas tree after Christmas or when it is dry. A dry tree is dangerous. It can catch fire easily.

BABY FEVER AT CITY HALL! The City of Creswell would like to congratulate two of our staff members, Caitlin and Chelsie, on their new little bundles of joy! Caitlin, our Utility Clerk, had a baby boy in September and Chelsie, our Coe Enforcement Officer, had a baby girl in early December. We are very happy to welcome these new Creswellians into the world! Caitlin and Chelsie will both be working hybrid schedules and be most accessible via email when they are not in the office.
