Concessions will be available for purchase from Bigfoot Fudge Factory, Ah-Mae-Zing Creations, and Bittle Brew Coffee Company. The Creswell Library will also be hosting a summer reading booth so you will not want to miss out!

Lane County Public Health advises EVERYONE to prepare for the heatwave coming by the end of the week. Temperatures in the 100s on Friday and Saturday and possibly lasting well into next week (note: even the coast is expected to be unusually hot).
Actions you can take now:
Make plans to be somewhere cool, especially in the afternoons and into early evening when it’s hottest;
Hang heat-reflecting curtains or blinds on windows;
Stock up on cooling foods and drinks – have extra to share;
Ask your friends & neighbors if they have air conditioning or need support – people most vulnerable to this heat are: people over 65 and under 4 years old, those on certain medications and/or with preexisting conditions, those working outdoors, and people without access to a reliable source of cooling and/or hydration;
Do laundry and other electricity-dependent activities ahead of the heatwave and think of other ways you can reduce demand on the electric grid (like unplugging unnecessary electronic devices);
Spread the word to raise awareness about the signs of heat illness and the importance of taking precautions.
