Public Hearing Notice: The City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 8th during its regular meeting to name the newest park in the City. The name that they are considering is RobinetteHughes Park in memory of the gentlemen who gave property to create the City of Creswell. The park is located on South 2nd Street and currently has a play area installed. This year we will be opening a splash pad.
The Creswell Park and Tree Advisory Board will be holding their monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 9th, 2024, at 10am in the City Hall Conference Room. Members of the public are welcome to attend.

Important Dates for the May Primary Election:  • New Voter Registration AND Party Affiliation Deadline. The deadline to register to vote, or to choose/change a Party and participate in the May election, is April 30, 2024.  • Current Voter Deadline to Update. You may update your voter registration through 8 p.m. Election Day and receive a ballot.  • Ballots are mailed to:             o Military and overseas voters on April 5 2024;             o Out-of-state voters on April 22, 2024; and             o Local voters on May 2, 2024.  • Drop boxes open on May 2, 2024.  • The last day our office will mail ballots to voters is May 16, 2024. After this date, ballots must be picked up in person at Lane County Elections.  • Election Day is Tuesday, May 21, 2024.  • Election results will be certified to the Secretary of State on June 17, 2024.

Egg Safety Tips. Do not leave eggs out for more than 2 hours at room temperature. Keep hard cooked eggs in the fridge until ready to serve. All cooked egg dishes should reach a safe minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees. Only use food grade dye if you are planning on decorating eggs.

Check out our new signs at Holt and Garden Lake Park! Our goal is to promote community health through the City’s smoke and vape free parks. We partnered with the School District, Amalia Designs, and FastSigns to provide friendly and educational messaging. We received funding through an award from the Tobacco Prevention team (@PreventionLane) at Lane County Public Health to create these amazing signs for our parks and for the school district properties.
