Happy Thursday, Creswell! Since she can't drive, Paisley is a frequent sidewalk user, just like many other residents in town. Here are some tips for keeping our sidewalks clear!
3 months ago, Creswell Admin
What’s that doing there? When I go on my walks, I use the sidewalks (as one does). Sometimes though, I come across things like basketball hoops blocking my path. Our code says that nothing shall block the right of way (including sidewalks) so that pedestrians and those experiencing mobility issues have a clear path around town!

Have you found a stray cat? Here are some tips: 1. Check for a microchip. Not all cats without collars are strays! 2. If it does not have a chip, take it to Greenhill Humane Society. They can help find the owner or find it a good loving home!

Found a Stray cat? Here’s what to do. Take it to a veterinarian to have it scanned for a chip. It could have an owner after all! If the cat does not have an owner, surrender it to the local Humane Society. They will be able to help the cat find a new home!

Creswell Heroes #7 Jenni Donley Board President for Creswell First! Jenni Donley has become a key figure in the Creswell community, dedicating her time to local organizations and events. She has served on the board of Creswell First for six years, including a term as president, helping fund projects like the book vending machine at Creslane Elementary. In addition to her role with Creswell First, Jenni runs the Creswell Painted Rocks Facebook group, a vibrant initiative where over 250 members paint and hide rocks with positive messages for others to find. This creative project has become a beloved tradition, spreading joy and encouraging connection among town residents. Jenni also volunteers at local events, such as the Duck Truck BBQ during Creswell's National Night Out. Jenni finds inspiration in the leadership of Mayor Dave Stram, whose humility and dedication to service set a powerful example for the community. For Jenni, Creswell's welcoming spirit inspired her to get involved, and she encourages others to do the same. She believes that contributing to local causes, no matter how small, adds fulfillment and a sense of connection to one's life.
