Creswell Heroes. Alex Speldrich, Lane County Sheriff's Office Sergeant. Sergeant Alex Speldrich has been serving the City of Creswell for the past two years as a Supervisor for the Lane County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) Creswell Contract. He supervises a team of four deputies and plays an active role in patrolling the area. In addition to his supervisory duties in Creswell, Sergeant Speldrich leads the Lane County Multi-Agency Crisis Negotiations Team, handling high-risk circumstances such as hostage situations and barricaded suspects. He is also the Training Coordinator for the Lane County Regional Crisis Intervention Team, providing crucial mental health training for law enforcement personnel. Sergeant Speldrich is committed to supporting his fellow officers as the Leader of the LCSO Peer Support Team, coordinating debriefs and offering emotional support to deputies dealing with the pressures of law enforcement work. His love for the Creswell community and its appreciation for law enforcement inspires him to continue his work. Through his leadership and dedication, Sergeant Speldrich has made a lasting impact on Creswell, ensuring safety and support for both residents and law enforcement.
