Have you found a stray cat? Here are some tips: 1. Check for a microchip. Not all cats without collars are strays! 2. If it does not have a chip, take it to Greenhill Humane Society. They can help find the owner or find it a good loving home!

Found a Stray cat? Here’s what to do. Take it to a veterinarian to have it scanned for a chip. It could have an owner after all! If the cat does not have an owner, surrender it to the local Humane Society. They will be able to help the cat find a new home!
Happy Sunday, Creswell! Here is Paisley's safety tip of the week!

Safety Sundays With Paisley. Ladders are great for helping us reach things (like dog treats!) but lets remember to be careful with them! Before you start climbing, make sure your ladder is stable, has no loose bolts or broken rungs, and that you are wearing appropriate shoes (no flip flops, those are for me to chew on).

Creswell Heroes. Dave Stram, Piano Teacher/Former Mayor of Creswell. Dave Stram has been a key figure in Creswell since moving to the community in 1982. For 30 years, he served as the pastor of the Creswell Church of Christ, and later as mayor from 2013 to 2018 and again from 2021 to 2024. As mayor, one of Dave’s most significant accomplishments was the 2015 vote to restructure how the city sets its water rates, ensuring they accurately reflect the cost of providing water. This change was enshrined in the City Charter and remains a lasting part of Creswell's governance. Beyond his time in office, Dave has volunteered in various roles, including serving as a piano accompanist for the Creswell High School Choir and helping bring the Finnish world track team to Creswell in 2022. He also played a key role in establishing the Creswell Interfaith Ministerial Association, bringing together local churches and community members. Throughout his years of service, Dave was inspired by local leaders like former mayor Eddie McCluskey and Reverend Norm Few. Reflecting on his time in the community, Dave says, “It’s been a joy and privilege to serve Creswell,” leaving behind a lasting legacy of dedication to both the city and its people.
